Darien Cub Scouts

Darien has four Cub Scout packs, each chartered by the Andrew Shaw Memorial Trust. They are based loosely around elementary school affiliation, with Royle School students belonging to Pack 56 and Ox Ridge students belonging to Pack 55.

Pack 161 - Hindley/Tokeneke

This year (2022-23) and for the foreseeable future, Packs 55 and 56 are operating jointly, and this website currently covers BOTH Packs 55 and 56, even though many of the addresses and pages may appear to refer to one pack or the other.

Packs 155 and 161, however, are NOT part of this website - Holmes School students are Pack 155, and Hindley & Tokeneke students are Pack 161.

Darien Scouts are unique in that they have a dedicated cabin for many of our activities, the Andrew Shaw Memorial Scout Cabin at 140 West Ave.

Many people may not realize, but girls are welcome in Scouting, and Kindergartners are also welcome to join Cub Scouts. Older kids can join too; you do NOT need to join in Kindergarten or First Grade. Kids can join Cub Scouts or Boy Scouts at any grade and they jump into the appropriate Den for their age.
